Wheel of Cyclic Imines Applications in Name Reactions

The will-o'-the-wisp-like wheel of cyclic imines!

An imine is a functional group containing a carbon–nitrogen double bond (C=N).

Imines are common in synthetic and naturally occurring compounds and participate in many reactions including name reactions.

Cyclic imines are substrates for many imine reductase enzymes.
